Project Three: Investing in Early Childhood & Wellness

As our upper school moves into its new building, the current upper school building will be transformed into our new Early Childhood Center and rooftop athletic facility.

Thoughtfully designed to support our youngest learners from the very start of their educational journey, the building will feature child-centered spaces, including:

    • Expanded spaces to support specialized learning opportunities
    • Bathrooms designed to support in-class potty training programs
    • Play based centers for discovery-based learning through hands on exploration
    • Specialized entrance with dedicated pull off and drop lanes, entryway accessible for strollers, and a welcoming lobby to greet and gather
    • Gross motor play space that promotes physical growth, language development, cooperative play, and emotional regulation

For the first time in Mission Grammar’s history, scholars will have a permanent home dedicated to athletics. Located atop the building, the new athletic facility will provide a dynamic space for physical education, team practices, competitions, recess, and free play, and will feature:

    • A regulation-size court
    • Restrooms
    • A dedicated coach’s office
    • Elevator access
