Faith Formation

All are welcome at Mission Grammar School in our inclusive community of faith and culture. As part of Boston’s Basilica, the Mission Church, our scholars are surrounded by God’s love and inspired to be the best people they can be.

We begin and end each day with prayer and the Gospel values are woven through our curriculum, daily interactions and social and emotional learning.

We implement the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston Religion Standards in concert with the We Believe Curriculum. Along with the standards, we focus on the Catholic Social Teaching, providing opportunities for our scholars to make profound connections with justice, service, and spirituality.

Our children who are Catholic, prepare for and receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion in second grade.  We also welcome families and children into the Church for those who might be interested in the sacrament of Baptism.
